    Suggestions for musical doldrums?

    Listen to a type of music that is new to you and then pick out something you can learn from it ie rhythms, scales, riffs, chords. We all end up in a rut at some point and for me it takes a new direction to get out of it sometimes.

    Looper pedals?

    Ive been using a Digitech Jamman Stereo pedal. Its great and to me, is one the most useful tools a guitar player can have. Either for songwriting, jamming, live work or whatever its superb. Highly recommended. Get one with plenty of memory and easy controls.

    Hmmm, acoustic guitars IMO are more subjective than electrics. Its more of a sympathy thing going on between wood, strings and player and different guys and gals like very different instruments. I love my Epiphone AJ500 personally. I beat it until it howls and loves me back : )
