    Anybody know anything about this bass?

    Caution Before Buying I'd be real careful about checking this bass out, i.e., playing it, seeing it up close. Do you know what the "distressed" material is? What did the review(s) say? Guess I'm on the cautious side. ejay

    Yes, polyurethane and/or tung oil are preferred for the neck but NOT for the fretboard. The fretboard can use a light coating of lemon or mineral oil rubbed in. Epoxy would most likely be unnecessary in most cases. Thanks for your interest.
