It sounds like the speaker is going if it's intermitten. I had a similar problem (except the sound from the amp would stop) and my speaker died...

For speakers what's the difference between a 12 and 15 inch? I know a 10 inch has more highs. But is one of these more desirable?

Thanks for thoses! My budget isn't that tight... I would just really love a new guitar or something ya know? So what would you suggest that's new then? Peavey? Yamaha? JBL? etc? I do not want to spend over a thousand dollars though. That is budget.

Cutaways don't affect the sound very much. The biggest difference is that the top vibrates in different spots... and it's alot less pretty

Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy a relatively cheap PA System that will be able to keep up with my band. I will mostly use it for Acoustic Guitar and Vocals, and maybe Bass even. What works well that won't blow up and be able to keep up with a Hot Rod Deluxe? Thanks! Charlie

Lots more bass than I usually use, and very very little treble (try like a 1/4 way up at the most). Midrange varies but usually i prefer to keep it pretty close to flat otherwise the overdrive just gets too messy for my tastes. All personal preference however.. Another way to control treble...

My Subway Blues. It just sounds so amazingly sweet. Every day i change the settings I get something new and exciting. The volume knob works wonders with it's tone. Go from Sam and Dave to Big Star style overdrive just with the twist of the volume knob. The amp is a little on the darker side...

Yea... It's a great guitar, I don't think i would want to sell that one. By the time it's worth anythign though the paint will all be gone... Haven't seen a new Highway 1, but it looks to me like they just made it to keep up with more popular music and harder distortion. Sam and Dave for me...
