I think I played my next guitar today. A sunburst AMDlx Tele w/rosewood neck. It felt and played amazing.

I was in the market for a Tele and bought a used Nashville, it's fast become my axe of choice if I'm taking a single guitar anywhere.

I'd definitely look real hard at the JV. I haven't heard anyone say a bad word about them. The soft V isn't at all hard to get used to.

Martin D 15s and 16gts can be picked up used for 400-600. I've tried a lot of acoustics recently and keep coming back to Martins as my favorite acoustic tones.

I've owned a YCV-20 for a couple of years now. When I first got it I replaced the tubes with JJs from eurotube. Made a big differnce in headroom and tone.
