    Peavey Express 112?

    I had one of these and really liked it. Like Spud says, the cleans are great and it does play well with pedals, but the higher gain settings are nothing to write home about. They're built like tanks and are a great value for the $$.

    The 2K's are great, imho. I can't speak to the P90 voicing, but they produce what I consider very round, full notes, and can be used for about any kind of music you like, other than really high gain stuff. Ymmv.

    I also had the Squier 51, and also several DeArmonds, which got a lot of love on the message boards several years ago. I've sold all of mine but a Starfire Special. I traded some of the others for a G&L ASAT Classic S, which is an awesome guitar.
