Try with some good headphones.. They made very similar soundclips and some pedals nearly sound the same - but there is a difference. The medium gain-comparison shows a lot of the character of each pedal.

The Marshall 30th anniversary 6100LM has 5881/6L6-tubes This one has one of the best clean channels I know and ch3 has an american high gain sound which is close to the 90ies high gain amps like a slo.

Wow, they look pretty.. But I'm absolutely not a fan of cheap built, trendy, vintagy looking china-crap. They might be good - I can't tell. But if I want a amph looking like a matchless I'd get one (a matchless..) I think it's worth, paying the people who design the innovative circuits.. not...

That's true, but I think I wouldn't buy any other lense if I had two to cover most of the needs - so it would be enough for years. Nikon-lenses are way more expensive as you need lenses with a stabilizer (which is included in the E520). And yes, quality- and feature-wise, all those cameras in...

Yep, one moment....Here are some samples with the hotcake, the tech21 XXL and the pure amph There's a difference between the left and right channel on those samples - I used a beam blocker on the left side.. The FretKing-soundsample is also played with the hotcake... And here more of the tech21...

I would chose every possibility, I like the gain of my Prosonic, but also using distortion an overdrive pedals (the Crowther Hot Cake from NZ:dude: ) Another great thing is boosting the amp to get it overdriven..
