Acoustics and more
I have a Takamine right now that sounds wonderfull and is great to play. The best acoustic I've played though I would say a Martin D-18. It almost played itself. Pretty subjective though.- Hophead

Slide with normal tuning
Johnny Winter is indeed a master of slide but I can't think of any songs off hand that he plays in standard tuning.- Hophead
