Installing a Bigsby on a LP

Ok, I sold my Strat because I came to the conclusion, I like my LP better and need to size down, you might say I ran out of GAS. The thing is I would love to put a Bigiby on my LP. I've been looking and see the B5 can be put on with an adaptor (Vibramate) so there is no screw holes into the...

    Reverend Club King is For-Sale!!

As much as I like my Reverend Hellhound I wouldn't have paid more for it than I did used, which was about half the street price. I see Reverend amps are going up in price mostly because there arn't any more being made, it's not because there great amps, but they are great amps for what they...

Having a hard time changing over to church music

Things went pretty good this morning, they always throw something new in the mix, we didn't do at practice, kind of hard to learn something in 5 minutes and play it well the first time as a group in front of 700 people, the wife said it sounded good, so I think it went over well. Then they fed...

Having a hard time changing over to church music

I almost went last night to the locak Blues Jam after church practice with one of the other musicans. The local jams here are everything you say, same old crap they've done the last 20 years and still they can't play it right, how hard is it to learn a few new songs? It's a good place to hang...

Having a hard time changing over to church music

I've been a guitarist 47 years and I think I'm pretty good, been in lots of working bands and even toured. Played everything from Acid Rock and Country to Jazz and Blues to Surf Music. Now I find my self playing with these church musicians and they are all very good, they want me to play with...

Thinking of Selling/Trading my '62 RI Strat

I have an early USA Sunburst '62 reissue Strat with tweed case and all the original paperwork and hardware, made around 1989. Very good condition I haven't played it much the last 10 years, because my style of music has been changing. I'm more a Gibson kind of player and Jazz musician. I been...

TNT Custom Guitars is closing their store, good deals.

I don't know the prices, my Strat body was $20 as a dent and scrach. I think he sells parts for the same price in the store or over the web plus shipping. The store closed today Saturday, I thought he was staying open till the end of the month. He said he's definitely still in business, you...

TNT Custom Guitars is closing their store, good deals.

Ken's a #1 guy, honest and very intune with the local musicians, but due to being in a small town (40K pop.) there really isn't room for 4 music stores here and with Guitar Center just 70 miles away in Medford the store was just getting by. He wants to continue the e-mail business but get out...

TNT Custom Guitars is closing their store, good deals.

I went in to the store last week and ken the owner told me he's had it with the store end of the business, "a store it fulltime work". He'll still be selling over the internet but has some great deals right now. I picked up a Strat body and neck from his Dent N' Scrach pile and some Gold HB...

    Alessandro amps

My friend has 1 of them, they seem nice but to be honest, they suck the tone out of your guitar. We tried everything, new tubes and a different speaker still sounded flat. We agreed, my Hellhound and his Blues Jr. both sound better, the Hellhound was by far the sweetest sounding amp of the 3.

One thing I like about it here....

Everyone is far cooler than some of the other forums I've seen. I haven't seen any bashing or attitude blitz. I may just hang around here more often.

    Oldtimer but new here.

I don't buy that, I'm sure you have talent and skills you just need to develope them.

    probably a ridiculous question

I use solid telephone wire for all the pot and switch functions. I got bunches of it for free, from the phone guy. It works very well.

Yellow Matter Custard - Beatles content

Very cool. I saw this Tribute band called The Fab Four, it was quite a flash back for me since I remember when The Beatles first came to America. These guys did 3 phases of the Beatles, early, SGT Pepper and late. They looked and sounded just like them in each phase. It really was amasing. I...
