It was made under licence from Giannini who made/makes the original Craviola. The Westbury (defunct Japanese brand) is better built. Japanese vs Brazilian quality: no contest. If you happen to have the case for it, it will be easier to sell.

In my experience, Tusq is brighter than bone. YMMV. Archtop bridges are entirely different animals. They are floating, not glued, and very few have a bone insert on top. Usually, archtops have a more focused sound, good for solo or comping work, with little sustain to muddy up single notes...

Great, actually reminds me a lot of my D-67SJ Washburn. Now that I think they were made by the same people, it doesn't surprise me all that much. However, the bracing of the two is quite different... (Edit: I just realized this one and the D-67 share a cedar top and do have a similar tone...
