This is one of the few guitars I am almost willing to buy sight unseen. I would love to get my hands on a gold top or the hioneyburst, but I think it will be difficult. At under $1,000 I am ready to pull the trigger.

To me the G-Dec is ideal as a practice amp. There are plenty of detractors out there who complain about the different effects not being very good, or the backing tracks. But I have yet to see anything else as versatile for a practice amp. We're not talking about gigging with the thing. Could it...

I go to a lot of festivals so I've met a few people there. But not just in passing. Guitar Shorty, Hubert Sumlin, Walter Trout, Ike Turner. I had one lesson with Kid Ramos at his house.

There are numerous electric guitar gods that I'd choose. But most likely I'd pick Freddie King.

I use mostly D'Addario. Pyramid strings seem to be a step up, but I don't know if they're worth the additional $$$.

I've been GASing for one of those Tokai Love Rocks for a while. It's next to impossible to get a MIJ one here in the States, but there's a guy in Canada selling the MIK ones. They're supposed to be pretty good. I'm torn between them, Dillion or one of the Epiphone Elitists.
