2010 Gibson 50's tribute ltd Les Paul Studio worn gold top P90's

This is one of the few guitars I am almost willing to buy sight unseen. I would love to get my hands on a gold top or the hioneyburst, but I think it will be difficult. At under $1,000 I am ready to pull the trigger.

    New Tribute L-2000

Behold the only bass rig I will ever own (probably). http://www.deanguitars.com/userpics/lib5/GL_L2K.jpg

    Recommend a decent all-around bass

Guitar player joins the ranks I guess I'm pretty late to the party, but that's because I just bought my first bass the other day. It was good to see an endorsement of the G&L Tribute L-2000 because that's exactly what I ended up getting. Originally I was going to go with a Dean EVO XM, which...

    Epiphone Guitars

I wouldn't mind getting an Epiphone Elitist Les Paul. My first electric guitar was an Epiphone LP100. After playing for a little while I realized that I didn't like its sound so much and I sold it. However, Epis are a reasonable alternative for those of us too budget conscious for real Gibsons...

What's the 1 pedal you cannot live without?

Just out of curiosity, what's the difference between the Bad Monkey and the Screamin' Blues?

Danelectro Fab - Distortion and Overdrive

I just picked up both of these for $20.00 each. Although you can find them for a bit less I wanted to support my local mom and pop music store so I paid list. Does anyone else out there like the Dano pedals? Since I don't really use effects much I'm not willing to drop close to $100 per pedal...

    Fender G-Dec

To me the G-Dec is ideal as a practice amp. There are plenty of detractors out there who complain about the different effects not being very good, or the backing tracks. But I have yet to see anything else as versatile for a practice amp. We're not talking about gigging with the thing. Could it...

    Dean

Unfortunately Dean discontinued the EVO Deluxe, which was made in the Czech Republic. Well within my price range for a Les Paul type guitar. They sounded really sweet. Of the current crop I am intrigued by the Psychobilly hollowbodies. Too bad they lost the lawsuit over the Bigsby-style tremolo...

What Famous people/Musicians have you met?

I go to a lot of festivals so I've met a few people there. But not just in passing. Guitar Shorty, Hubert Sumlin, Walter Trout, Ike Turner. I had one lesson with Kid Ramos at his house.

    Who would you rock with?

There are numerous electric guitar gods that I'd choose. But most likely I'd pick Freddie King.

    What strings do you use?

I use mostly D'Addario. Pyramid strings seem to be a step up, but I don't know if they're worth the additional $$$.

    Fender G-Dec

Well someone had to do it! I know there are legions of people who have or are considering this cool practice amp. So I figured they needed a place to congregate on this site.

Great "other" Guitars from the 60s,70s,80s,90s

I've been GASing for one of those Tokai Love Rocks for a while. It's next to impossible to get a MIJ one here in the States, but there's a guy in Canada selling the MIK ones. They're supposed to be pretty good. I'm torn between them, Dillion or one of the Epiphone Elitists.
