0000 steel wool. If it's a maple board, mask it off with masking tape so you don't damage the finish. If it's Rosewood, the steel wool won't do it any harm.

Hi guys, I'm looking for some opinions on Fender CS '54 pups. I'm thinking about putting these in my Strat. How do they weigh up against say the CS '69s? Cheers.

I have a PH-3 which I bought new from Allans Music on May 11. I don't really use it, I need some money to keep this Strat project moving. I'm not going to say 'I want this much for it', but I'd rather hear how much you think it's worth. Comes with intact box, manual and catalogue. :P
