    Ebay question

I believe that's correct. If the bidder wasn't willing to go up to your reserve price during the auction...why would they be willing to pay that much as a second chance?

How to inspire one's kids to play guitar?

Is it possible to start with "What inspired you?" I imagine the reasons we became involved in music/guitar will run the gamut. In all honesty, I can not remember why I went to the assembly in grade school, 40 some years ago, where they introduced those in attendance to "band". There was no...

    Chidhood Musical Memories

We had an AM radio on top of the fridge that was on every morning. The first songs I remember hearing were Winchester Cathedral and Love Is Blue. Not saying they influenced me...they were just my first recolection.

    Ice & Snow!

How's the progress? We were blessed and never lost power in our neighborhood, but we sure felt the impact. 90% of my co-workers were without for 4+ days. I believe they are all back on the grid now, although some still can't move back due to broken pipes and trees on their homes. My hats off...

Radio : THE BIGGER THEY ARE, THE HARDER THEY FALL

Being in the business, I can only say I appreciate our company and the decisions we've had to make the weather these tough times.

    Hello from the Bluegrass State

Thanks! Kind of my plan. I've got my eye on a couple other makes/models to try in the near future.

    Hello from the Bluegrass State

Helpers?....more like enablers! ;) Rent on the D10S is $15 / month (no contract) and I can buy it for $199. Unlike the Rent-a-Center's, they don't inflate the prices....although they will only apply 10% of your total rental to the purchase price. Another nice feature, is I can take this...

    Hello from the Bluegrass State

Thanks for the welcome! Rocket... it just seemed to make more sense to see if I enjoyed playing before shelling out money for a purchase. Part of the rental fee would be applied to the sale if I decide to keep the Washie. In the meantime, I've got a few bills to pay off.

    Hello from the Bluegrass State

New to guitar, but not to music. Spent elementary through college on the trumpet. Currently I'm renting a Washburn D10S and have taken a few lessons over the past 6 months. My biggest struggle right now is with strumming rhythms, but at least I'm making progress on chords :AOK:
