I use Onboard reasearch Corp's intellitouch tuner. ive had it over 3yrs and its still on the same battery. works great, unless you tune down. it has a hard time reconizing the low E string if you tune down to C. but otherwise its excellent

adding a 2nd or 3rd 9volt battery to those EMG's will bring out some nice chimes/harmonics, as well as make it a bit louder. i tried it in my (81/85's) dean hardtail and epi LP flame top.i love it

Anyone have opinions on installing a brass nut on a guitar? ive heard they offer great sustain and a jangly sound as apposed to other nuts.Ive seen them offered for gibson LP's but not for the epi les paul, which i own. is there a certain place one could be ordered?

yeah i kinda figured it wouldnt be the best quality, but reviews were good on it and its relatively cheap,compared to bbe's product, and with the behringer having a few more knobs of adjustability,i figure what the heck. we'll see how it works in a few days.
