This old song might still ring true even in these different places in space and time.

Hope you like it. I thought it was a superior performance.
Just got the AC15c1, the new AC15 Custom that has been redesigned from the AC15CC1, to include a much more AC30 interface, plus other upgrades and design changes, physical and electronic. Supposed to be an improvement over the earlier model that I played a few years ago.
I have not played it...
Had a chance to play a new Schecter Hellraiser Solo 6 thru a Kustom '36 Coupe tube amp.
Mighty nice sounding guitar. It has EMG 81TW and 89 active pickups and they sound very nice. This guitar was gloss black and had a "vibe" to it. When playing chords the individual strings stood out nicely...
The awesome harmony-central.com, as we have known it, is now gone; replaced with a sorry immitation of what it once was. A really pitiful site as it now stands. Really sickening.
Supposedly motivated by a desire for the sponsor companies to make more money, quicker, the whole site it changed...
Does anyone know if I can record my Yamaha Stage Custom five piece drum set into my JamMan looper using just a single dynamic mic in a smallish bedroom?
Or will it sound like human waste material?
It's a vocal instrument mic and works best, of course, when you are right up close to it.
Will...
It was interesting to see McCartney playing an Epiphone acoustic at last year's opening of Citi Field, the old Shea Stadium (NY Mets field) site where he had previously played some of the last notes to be sounded there along with Billy Joel, before they demolished Shea Stadium.
McCartney opened...
The Classic 30 came and I plugged it in and adjusted the dials and the reverb started to howl without even a guitar plugged in when turned up, maximum feedback almost squeal at twelve on the reverb knob all volumes and gain turned off.
Turning down the reverb still has a drone and howlish hum...
I decided not to get the Valetronix old style blue AD120VTX primarily because of its age and absence of a warranty. Vox said I would only get my money back for one year, no trade for a contemporary model or any other avenue.
I decided, after giving it some thought, that I wanted an amp that...
I am seriously thinking of getting a Fender Hot Rod DeVille.
Some of you guys like Maxifunk have them.
I'm wondering what you guys think about them.
I have a Hot Rod Deluxe tweed special edition with Jensen P12n awesome speaker and like it a lot, hyper sensitive volume knob aside.
Can you...
I have always wanted to get a Valvetronics, esp. since I got my Vox DA5, but I am convinced that Valvetronics amps are unreliable, extremely complicated in their circuits, can be very expensive to get fixed, and are often unfixable.
I have often thought about picking up a valvetronics if I...
Played a Marshall Class 5 today extensively with four guitars.
It is made in England. All valve.
Tone is incredible and it's loud, but when you turn this class A beauty up it goes into overdrive, at least with humbuckers.
Also it has incredible touch sensitivity. When you pick light it is...
I am thinking about putting a Bigsby B7 with roller bearing bridge on an Epi LP Standard I have.
Has anyone put a Bigsby on their LP?
I have heard that it is supposed to be easy with the B7.
I wonder if the roller bridge will match the size and threads on my Epi bridge studs?
The B7 kit...

Actually, mahogany can be found in many places around the world and fine individual trees are often harvested just for the mfg of...
Just cranked my J bass thru my Zoom B2.1u into my Marshall MB series B30, a serious practice amp with normal and drive channels and three voices, all adjustable gain and a gain channel adjustable and an adjustable manual compression knob. What great sounds this rig gets. I'm playing a new...
Here are some pictures of my new CV strat, aged white pickguard loaded with Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pickups straight from the shop I bought it from, at my request and of course, cost. Worth it. It sounds incredible. New pots, caps, switch, and jack of high quality.
Played a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 100 yesterday and was blown away by its great sounds. Even at low volume you can get great overdrive with the two gain channels, Classic and Ultra. Both channels have two voicings and the eq has a deep button plus tone switching button for each channel.
This is...
Speaking of hardwire pedals, I tried out several reverb pedals in the last few days.
The hardwire reverb pedal won my preference by a long way.
There was no noise. The several settings had a few really enjoyable settings. Lots to tweak to refine these and other settings.
The spring reverb...
"The Heritage" H 150 Kahuna, used, with special vintage Gibson type pups designed by the Heritage guy that worked for gibson on the PAFs,compared to a brand new ESP LTD EC1000 Deluxe with EMG 81/60 pups.
"The Heritage" about four years old, honeyburst, great shape, 1000dollars.
The ESP LTD...
Anyone have an opinion on the ESP LTD EC series LP style guitars?
I have a chance to get a glossy black with gold trim ESP LTD EC-1000 Deluxe for a great price, new, 700.
It has the EMGs, 85 or 81 and 60. Played a few and they sound great. Also played the Viper 1000 Deluxe in the EMG and SD...
