I couldn't tell you much. I paid $100 bucks for mine. I don't think these are worth that much at all. I know that these were made by Yorkville, but there is an affiliation with Gretsch behind these...don't ask me how. All I know is that the knobs on this amp are very similar to those on my...

Alrighty... There are two different modes to this guitar; Rhythm and Lead (not like a pickup selector, but actually tonal modes). The switch in the top horn selects these modes. When the switch is down, it operates in "Lead" mode. The bottom three switches are simply "on-off" for the neck...

I would like to announce the newest member to my family. I just sold my JCM2000 TSL100 and picked up a new Fender MIJ Jaguar Special! The electronics took me a good few minutes to figure out their practical application, but I have to say, this is a REALLY fun guitar! I'll try and post...

Why aren't guitarists happy with their tones?

I like the struggle for new tone. I feel that as a guitar player, that drive for new sounds spurs me to new levels of creativity. I've found that I've been the LEAST creative when I've been most comfortable with my tone. There's nothing like picking up an unfamiliar guitar and plugging it...

Actually the cloth was purely a "looks" decision. My wife wanted a cool looking amp, and we thought the curtain would be kind of cool. The Sonax is actually a terrible amp all around :D

Line-6 M13 Stompbox Modeler for sale

Hey, sorry for adding my two cents. My buddy found a trade locally... The POD is the entire recording experience. It's a pedal chain, amp, mics, sound treated room...all in one. It works all right with a good amp, but it's really designed for direct input. My buddy has a Heritage Vox AC15...

As far as I can tell, these were made by Yorkville for Gretsch. It's kind of a wooly sounding amp. I replaced the grill cloth with an old curtain that was in our house when it was purchased. I think it looks cool. I play it occasionally for those "butt rock/indie" tones.

The EVH stack and The TSL100 are for sale. I'm looking at possibly picking up a Fender MIJ Jaguar special this weekend. Those are unfinished pedals built by DVM. The ZYS MKII is pretty sweet. I might put the distortion on pedal board #2 and replace it with a T-Rex Mudhoney II later this...

    Most Effective Pedalboard

:french Today was a slow day in the GAS station, so I designed the world's most effective pedalboard. I couldn't think of a single guitar player who wouldn't benefit from the glory that is: THE MOST AMAZING PEDALBOARD

    Guitar Tone Controls

I have two comments: 1. I used the tone control a lot when playing live with other guitar players. The other guy goes to take a solo, I roll my tone waaaay back and he cuts through the mix a lot better and nobody notices my playing has fallen back in the mix. I find it gives the band room to...

SE PRS Pauil Allender: gimmick guitar or worth the money?

I've got the Tremonti SE and replaced with pickups with a couple "Loudmouth" humbuckers from GFS and added a couple push/pull pots to coil tap. It's a really versatile guitar right now. I liked the Tremonti model because the controls were more like a Les Paul.
