I'm like Perfect Stranger. ^ I generally fall in love with whichever one I'm playing at the moment. Lately my two faves are a modded Squier Strat with scalloped neck and my Epiphone Dot. I could be happy with just those two electrics.

i decoupaged the body a couple of months ago and finally got around to putting a neck on and putting her back together. its an Affinity body and the neck from MIM Fender Squier Series Strat. pics and a video so you can hear her: here's the video of me soloing with her over a backing track:

I just tried the Kiwi shoe polish trick on my new Bullet...and so far, so good. The wood definitely absorbed the tint, and I've only done one coat. I used some paper towels to buff it and it's actually shinier now than it was before. I'll do a few more coats and then buff it nicely and take...

it doesn't bother me if the holes don't line up exactly or if i have to file the guard a little here and there.

well...i finally got the new Bullet set-up right. had to put a new nut in it and then adjust truss and saddles. now it's playing fantastic. i received the CV50s Strat and am a little underwhelmed. maybe it's the maple neck that is throwing me off, but i haven't found that i'm loving the guitar. :(
