I have been looking for the holy grail of strings for years, I break them all doesn't matter what brand, even the expensive ones, so I buy ernies or deans and use a product called stringtreat on them, instead of 1 or 2 gigs it makes my strings last for a month and they still sound and play great.

I have had 2 of those as back ups for gigs cause I break a lot of strings, the only problem I had with them was that the vibrato bar would not stay in for very long, it has a set screw holding it in that just was a bad idea. Apart from that these are great cheap strats.

If you have an expensive custom neck made for you, they take different measurements of your hands so the neck would be perfect for your hand. The letter designation is just a template to meet with the tastes of different players, the same goes for width and F.B. radius.
