    Danelectro

just had a brainwave. i think the knobs in that previous photo are the same as the knobs on the third reissue longhorn bass guitars (dead-on 58) so in theory the parts should exist. if you can find any stockist of danelectro parts perhaps mention the longhorn bass and you might get better results.

    Danelectro

According to this photo: http://www.gbase.com/files/store_images/gear/2698093/p1_u5ipd0wha_so.jpg your guitar should have a round bottom knob and quite a sharp top knob. Can't really tell what order the colours should be in since i had a bit of trouble finding a picture of the guitar in the...

Maybe you guys can help with some old guitar info

This link might help you if you can find any numbers on the thing. Make sure you check out the related links too. http://www.ehow.com/facts_5484263_kay-guitar-identification.html It sounds like the Kay guitar company had a similar run to Danelectro. Which leads me to agree with previous...

    Danelectro

i bought a second hand U2 a little while back and immediately looked to upgrade certain parts. Soldering Iron Recommendations

The best way to make sure components don't fry when installing them is to get a heatsink. Modding my Danelectro U2

I saw a couple of those type of up-do's. i think it is probably a little over my head since this will be my first foray into any sort of guitar project!

    Aussie in need of flat-wound

Anybody know of any good suppliers of strings in Aus that stock flat-wounds at a reasonable price. I've looked - i must admit - only a little but I am just getting frustrated at the lack of beneficial leads I'm getting.

    Modding my Danelectro U2

Just bought a Danelectro U2 second hand. in pretty nice shape though. I'm thinking of modding it and my first port-of-call was to upgrade the bridge. i have heard that the rosewood saddles are a bit sub-par and thought that would be a good place to start. Since i don't want to do it over and...
