Beautiful!

I bought a used Takamine 523 accoustic/elec 12 string from Guitar Center for under $500, which listed at $749 new. It is wonderful and I use it constantly. Beautiful tone and a wide neck, perfect for soloing. This is my third 12 string and I strongly recommend it.

I love the way the Telecaster looks, ever since I saw Pete Townshend play it live in NYC at the Murry the K Show, when the Who first came to the USA. When he started hitting the big amp behind him with his white Tele at the end of "My Generation" I knew that was the guitar for me!

I switched out my white pickguard on my "blackie" Stratocaster to a white perloid which I got from Musician's Friend for only $9.98. Everywhere else, it was at least three times as expensive. It makes my Strat look much more elegant.

Quacks like a duck now! My first Strat was a budget Squire version, made in Korea and had reverse polarity ceramic pickups which were really good, but I sold it for a Japanese made Strat (1992), as an upgrade, which, I think, was made to vintage specs. However, I was disappointed in the sound...
