Thanks. Small body slotted head guitars are so misunderstood. My D-28P will never be as loud as my 00-21, especially for finger picking because of the slotted head (besides being 42 years older). Plus the short scale makes action a dream.

If you're like me, you acoustic players especially, are after optimal action. This usually means, "How low can you go" before getting fret buzz. My question is, when you do get fret buzz, where - string & fret - is it most likely to occur? Thanks!
Good suggestions above! I finger a G in a way that save much movement -- and that is with middle on 5th string, ring on 6th, and pinky on first. Try it and feel the ease of going to C, and all sorts of variations of both G & C.
