    I got my fender today.

Congrats, grungeice! How about letting us take a peek at that bad boy? Or even better, a listen. Appease a poor family guy with no money to blow yet!

    Most emotional guitar solo

For me it would probably be EC's work on Roger Water's "The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking". It was the early 80's when Eric was in a pretty dark place and he just pours that darkness and yearning toward the light into Blackie and some very sweet acoustic slide work.

    Hagström

Jimi, my first axe was a Hagstrom I (in England I think they were called the Kent). I can't be really fair though because that was a long time ago (1980). I do know it was pretty tough and I couldn't hurt it as much as I tried.

    New Vox amps! AC50 CP2

My wife would be certain to leave me if I blew our new T.V money on a high-end Vox amp. I sure am gonna miss her:)

    Fender 5w Champion, yeah!

Well, it is nice looking and I bet it has a sweet tone, but a 6" speaker? That just begs for a little post-purchase modification. Todd

I know this isn't really an amp...

Ah, I never bother with little technicalities! Like the man said, "220-221, whatever it takes." I would advise trying it out. For a little bit o' money, it was worth it to me anyway.

I know this isn't really an amp...

It doesn't really have any effects other than distortion, but then I got the cheaper standard version. I told my wife the V2 version is on my birthday wish list :) I tried it at GC and it sounds pretty sweet with some nice effect, especially for something you can throw in a gig bag or use as a...

I know this isn't really an amp...

but someone asked so I figured I would show off my Pocket Rocket :) What you can't see is the input jack for all of the iPod backing tracks. It makes a nice little practice setup to take in the gig bag.

    Chord/Scales at your finger tips

Good finds guys. I can use all the help I can get since my theory sucks. :) Thanks for the additions to my faves!

How many times around the post?

I usually go 2, maybe 3 if I didn't measure well. I haven't had any tuning issues, but that is more likely due to my blocked trem than the string winds.

    Blues ABC's

There goes my "Low-Down Malware Virus Blues" song!! Here and I thought it would be a hit, too. Great post!

    Greetings fom Michigan

Welcom scorona! Not too far away from you. Near Toledo, actually Archbold (the mighty home of Sauder furniture). I usually just say I'm from Toledo though because, let's face it, who ever heard of Archbold:rolleyes: Anyways, good to have you in the group. With all the fairly locals around...

Just joined and sayin hey to y'all!

Thanks for the greets! Nice to meet you all and here's hoping one day we can jam together! To answer the questions: ** Yes, I could kick myself for selling that Dlx Reverb. ** I think the vintage noiseless pups run about 100-125 these days. ** A pocket rocket is a little ampless box to plug...

Just joined and sayin hey to y'all!

Off and on player for 20+ years, so I have started over more than a couple of times. Here is the stuff I owned once and sold: * Hagstrom I (first electric in school) * Fender Strat (MIJ, 1984 or 85) * Fender Deluxe Reverb (circa about 1977) * Pignose practice amp (I loved that little thing!)...
