well........ shes no longer for sale. im not sure i did the right thing but i sure am happy:D i traded it for this.... 1960 VOS. i couldnt pass it up. the whole time i was kicking the idea around in my head i would rationalize like "it'd be a lot easier to sell a Les Paul than a 137."...

cool idea for a thread. i have a quick little question about how a chord is best fingered. im wanting to play "Gloria" Doors version and i have a tab but im not sure about this chord. in the past ive always just ignored it and went with the easy (open D type laziness) way but im not getting any...

How good is Gearbox @ reproducing specific models?

ahh ok. yea there are a few models that i have absolutely fallen in love with via gearbox thru my pc. gearbox is kinda like an dyno for me at this time. i understand a computer processor cannot replicate to the t a vintage tube amp, but i was looking for hopefully someone who has used a...

How good is Gearbox @ reproducing specific models?

thanks for the input. ive been using it for about a year now with the UX2 and i dont even turn my real amp on anymore. i have a 505w surround system for my pc and i love it. throw in all the learning tools, video lessons etc, i really dont even see a need for an amp until i have the stones to...

How good is Gearbox @ reproducing specific models?

i know its not the same but with it i notice pretty significant differences from one model to another. i am trying to fight off the GAS for a Marshall tube amp but there are 4 les pauls in this house and i feel like they hate me for not having acquired one thus far. so.. what i think is good...

ill check those out but i know i wont be happy until i have a marshall of some sort and i dont want to fill this house with amps because thats what will happen unless i go for the crown jewel right off the bat! :)
