I'd like to get mine modded. I was in contact with someone here, but soon after lost the email and I can't recall his username. He had a mod for about 40 bucks...send him the head and shipping. Can't believe I lost that!!! This post just reminded me.

Aside from the obvious speaker change and tube change, which I did with a Warehouse Veteren and JJ's, what is the simplest mod to get this amp sounding even better? And...do any of you guys do this work? I'm a soldering spaz.:)

I have the first model along with the Boost RVB. I love it. I would seriously consider this great pedal.

The Green Screamer is a great OD...probably my favorite TS type...on my board now. Didn't care for the Crusher though.

Curious...mids scooped and natural bassiness describes the OCD to a tee.

That's for an always on situation, but crank that sensitivity up to 2 o'clock and it's chicken pickin' heaven!!! Great pedal!

The Ibanez DE7 is highly regarded and only around 70 bucks.

I tried the OCD v3 and v4...didn't like either...too bottom heavy and fizzy.

Boosta Grande does one thing...does it well, but you have more flexibility with a 29 dollar Fish & Chips.

Just got a Tech 21 Boost RVB today...holy S what a great pedal...so unlike the usual Boss/Digitech digital thing...has its own organic mojo.

I'm a little wary with its lack of attack control...the two knob compressors don't seem to offer enough control, but I may be wrong.

Boosta Grande is another great pedal. Affordable, beautiful simplicity.

I so wish I bought the Hardwire instead of the Boss RV-5. I found them very comparable tone-wise and I got the RV-5 for 20 bucks less new. It's fine...I only use a pinch of "room", but I'm still second guessing myself after months!:mad:
