    Blues Lesson a la BFG....

Billy Gibbons is possibly the coolest human on the planet. His tone is tasty. His licks are ultra tasty. His hat happens to be nasty.

Anyone familiar with Marshall Valvestate S80 8240

The one I had had nice cleans and horrible distortion. The amp just sounded very solid state ish and uninspiring. My tastes have changed a bit since then. Maybe I wouldn't mind it as much today.

This is too good , Derek Trucks take..

That guy knows his way around a guitar. Tasty licks with perfect tone! Oh. And about the golf swing, looks good. You can generate more power if you keep your hands as far away from head as possible at the top of the backswing.

The best looking guitar ever made

I'm a huge fan of Albert King's Dan Erlewine made flying V. With the Albert King inlays on the fretboard and the Les Paul style headstock.

    Savoy Brown

All I Can Do Is Cry and this are my favorite Savoy Brown tunes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDw3nDV5tV8 Oh yeah! And Hard Way to Go. And Ring in His Nose Ring on Her Hand is awesome too.

ES 335 - Is there a wider neck

I know PRS makes a wide fat neck. Unfortunately they don't make a 335 style guitar. Although you would have to sell your house to afford one if they did make one.

Which Modeling Amps Should I Look At?

The Tech21 Trademark series is definitely worth a look.

Attenuators? premature amp death, or safe?

Tube amps just don't go hand in hand with apartment dwelling. You might as well get yourself a modelling amp for this type of practice situation.
