Paying to have a song tabbed

Been thinking of hiring someone to tab a few live Leslie West songs for me. Has anyone ever done this? If so, can you recommend a vendor?

    Grounding myself to the guitar

It happens with everything I'm using; Tele, S-500, Dillion LP clone. Clean is pretty good, although the noise is there, just low. I get annoying noise if I overdrive the amp. If I hold the guitar without touching the strings, I get noise. Sat it down beside me, I get noise. Get up and walk away...

    Grounding myself to the guitar

I've just gone by the three-month anniversary of my attempt to torture my fingers into adhering to my will. AKA, learning to play the guitar. One thing that really annoys me is the horrible noise whenever I'm not grounded to the guitar by touching the strings. I'm thinking of wearing a ground...

The Allman Brothers: Live Fillmore East

I dunno. But I'd prolly do it if they were really obnoxious about their guitar playing. Old fashioned? I think what he meant was that it contains too much beautiful music and not enough robotic shredding.

The Allman Brothers: Live Fillmore East

Live at the Fillmore came out when I was in the employ of Uncle Sam and I didn't hear it until I came back to the states. Eat a Peach had just been released when I finished my 18 months in Korea and headed home. I bought it at the duty free shop in the Tokyo airport while waiting to change...

The Fillmore East - Closing night 7/27/71

Beautiful and sad No rockin' for me that night. I was manning the Cold War ramparts at scenic Zoeckler Station, Republic of Korea, and assigned to Army Security Agency Special Activities Detachment-III. Not sure what I was doing at the moment the Fillmore closed, but it was probably a)...

A Weird Scene Inside the Gold Mine

Stopped by a friend's house last night to shoot the feces. He's an accomplished player who likes to experiment, and is always playing "stump the neighbor" by picking out obscure tunes. He picked up his Strat and challenged me to identify what he was going to play. Well, I couldn't. Sure sounded...

Lost control & here I am

Thanks for the warm welcome. I think I'm going to need all the good karma you guys can send my way. Celebrated my 6-week anniversary as a geetar owner this weekend. And I wondering how long it'll be before I can change "owner" to player." Here's what I've learned so far. 1. Mother nature ripped...

Lost control & here I am

You'd think a wizened 59-year-old man would know better, but no. Lost control of my senses not too long ago and decided to take up the guitar. Still a rank noogie in the grand scheme of things, but on a scale of 1-10, I estimate my skills have improved to around -2. Learning on a Mexican Tele...
