What is a god afordable mic that can do it all.

Not only do you think you'll get a good mic for 29 bucks, but you actually trust the reviews at Amazon? Now i've seen everything. LOL

29 dollars for a mic? Wow, why don't you just use a dixie cup with a string attached to it. What do you think you'll get for 29 bucks?

When using an SM57, it is really nice to have a great mic preamp to get the most out of it. I use a BAE 1073.

Hendrix - Bending Strings, Bending my MIND!

The person that wrote this clearly did'nt play guitar much, or at all. Or at least, they arent very good with explanations. I wouldnt waste your time dissecting it. Move on to a better source. TK

    new studio

The white panels are not abosorbing mid or low frequencies. In order to do that, you need at least a 2 inch air gap between the panel and the wall or ceiling. And the panels need to be much thicker and more dense. Generally, either owens corning insulation, or Rockwool. 4 to 6 inches thick...

    Hendrix for Guitar Players

Hendrix knew plenty about music threory. Sure maybe he didnt know the proper terminology, but trust me, that guy knew exactly what he was doing harmonically, and intervallically. Just cause he couldnt write it down doesnt mean he doesnt understand it. Paco de Lucia, Wes Montgomery, i could...

    new studio

Looks great! You might consider hanging some owens corning 703 panels in the walls and corners. Wrap them in burlap or cheap fabric, and hang them everywhere. They will absorb low to mid frequency build up that can cloud your mixes. TK

Couple of videos to say hello

Thanks Guys! The strat i bought in the mid 80's. It was a Strat plus. It had a roller nut and lace sensors in it. I just really loved the neck shape. So I put a bone nut, and some Texas Specials in it. :)

    A PRS SE30 combo demo

Thanks guys! Yeah, i've played in a few cover bands over the years, haha. :) The sounds in the video demo are all straight up, just a Shure SM 57 mic, and an AT4050 condensor mic both right up on the grill. The only effect used was some extra software reverb on the Van Halen tune. Other...
