Brief demo of one guitar, many sounds

I was watching this NAMM video on Fender amps and was most struck by the way the demo player just nonchalantly creates several iconic guitar sounds using an off-the-rack standard strat, no pedals, no adjusting the amp, just the guitar controls. While he does switch through the amps, it seems to me that it is his control of the guitar and his hands that is behind all of those sounds being created with one guitar.
