I got the new version of Guitar Pro 6, and it is very nice.

I have been using Guitar Pro 6 for a few weeks, but my impression is that everything works much better and makes much more sense than in version 5. It doesn't crash as easily as the previous version either. The development team have taken a promising piece of software and turned it in to something solid and much more professional.

You can try the GP6 demo and see what you think.

One drawback is you can't export to GP5 file format, but they are working on adding that feature, I believe. You can open GP5 files with GP6, no problem.

All my lessons that come with Guitar Pro will be using GP6 files only.
