the Shiner household bday party commences.

Shiner actually spent the entire day in the kitchen cooking; the young adults have their favs that we both cook, and today was navajo tacos.

Shiner made a huge batch of scratch fry bread, green sauce, red sauce, and has his guac on standby.

one of Shiner's groomsmen and his wife [the couple's house at which we predominantly watch cowboys games] should walk in the door any moment... and the party commences.

you guys are totally going to love BG's gift to Shiner.

Thank y'all very much for the kind words. Had a great time with the kids this weekend. Stayed up till the wee hours of the morning last night playing pool with a few old friends.

Today I'm sticking to a strict regimen of playing a little guitar, chilling, and drinking a few cold brews. Tonight I've got a couple of thick New York Strips to slap on the grill. My favorite way to spend a birthday.
