At first my Carvin DC127 had a set of Holdsworth pups in it. They're good sounding pups but

no body to 'em, not my thing. Now I have a set of Seymour Duncan Blackouts in it. They're a

little dark but sweet sounding alright, I like 'em.

Now Carvin released their new old stock pups, M22s with red bobbins and black bezels and I

ordered a set of M22T and M22V. Also got new pots and caps from them.

So this is a shot of my DC127 with the blackouts. Gonna be the last time I see 'em. :)

This is the parts I got for the job.

Here I'll post the completed job. :)

There, all done. :)

The pups surprised me, sound like the Blackouts but with more presense. Sounded good.

Nice job Kite! You happen to be a Bulldawgs fan would you? Keep up the good work! :applause

No, I'm no sports fan. :)

It would've been better if the pups actually match the body color.

Those are really hard to get in that color since they have been discontinued about 10 years..............These are NOS and I ordered some myself today.....................rumours are they might start another run but who knows. The limited editions of these look sweet for sure and I just might buy the blackouts also if not sold beforehand................................................................................................................................unles kite wants to trade something forthem................................................................

Wha cha got for trade? :poke

EDIT: by the way, I changed the bezels (off the Holdsworths) because the bezels on the M22s were angled (for archtops). Now it's 3 bolt and flat. What's weird is that it's louder now. I didn't know that the tilted pups would lose so much.
