Thanks guys! I did swap the guard the other night with a 4 ply Tortoise shell. I love it. This guitar I think has become my #1!

Hey Nate, loved your playing on your sample. After looking at the pics of the tort pg, I might have to check one out for my 60th Std. Mine is 3 ply white now. Won't make me play like that overnight though. I love all the sounds you were getting out of yours.
