My name’s Rob, I’m spreading the word about a new video/album by Jon Gomm. I was hoping it’d be of interest to members of this forum.

The song is called Telepathy, it’s the first single from the new album Secrets Nobody Keeps.

Here’s the video link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9b29phQz_I

And the song, the album and the guitar Tab are available from http://jongomm.com/store

The album’s also on iTunes, Amazon, and all that jazz (although not Spotify or other streaming apps, sorry).

I’d be interested to hear what people here think of it, and if anyone asks a question I can’t answer, I’ll get Jon to come on here and answer it himself. :)

Rob

Amazing technique for sure it reminds me partly the style of Paul Sprawl (slide, percussions, harmonica...) which was just touring in France last week. Mr Gomm has not only skills but also a great feeling and a charming voice all together that creates a very nice moment of music Thanks for pointing ths artist to us

Jon's new video/single Wukan Motorcycle Kid is out today.

It's totally different from the last one, so I'd be interested to hear people's reactions...?

This is the second single from the album Secrets Nobody Keeps. (Song, album, Guitar Tab, signed CDs and gift packs are available now from http://jongomm.com/store
Order now for Xmas delivery!)

The song is about the Wukan Uprising of 2011, and today marks 2 years since the death of Xue Jinbo. To find out more, read the youtube video description or websearch "Siege Of Wukan".

Nice song I love this "blocked" strings it sounds like an african thumb piano, I use to do that from time to time with a sheet of paper between the strings I saw that the first time in a video of John Abercombrie I think I thought the sound was great :thumbsup

The melody is very appealing and the open tuning quite weird I like this type of introspective music !

Jon's got another video out - a country waltz about an old girlfrien and her interesting family..

Tab and pay what you want single are available on Jon's website.

Any and all comments appreciated.

Rob :)
