Yeah, it's a totally different beast, both in the nature of the circuit and the character of the fuzz. Every well-equipped pedalboard should have a Fuzz Face-style germanium transistor fuzz....especially if you play a Strat!

Hey Vood......that Orange Distortion unit.....you have the modded with the N and LED diodes for that rounder sound, right?

I have the OD-2 and Rabid Rodent.......what type of distortion will the Orange give me compared to what I already have? As you know, I love how you mod things.

I done bought it! This will make my fourth(!!) DVM built pedal and third BYOC kit built by him. I now have a Zonkin Yellow Screamer (BYOC OD II, modded), a Rabid Rodent, (BYOC Mouse, Modded), a "Radio Shack" spec perf board silicon fuzz, and this ESV fuzz I am buying now! I do believe I have more DVM pedals than all other pedals at this point, or at least about even. Certainly more than any other manufacturer.
