Used to Love Her

Here we hop aboard the Wayback Machine to autumn 1991 at Rutgers University. My band was the main act and the venue was overbooked and that screwed up our set list. We got truncated and then they literally pulled the plug on us at 2:00am while the venue was still quite crowded. This was the MKII lineup up of the band, The Institution. We played the campus a few times. Enjoyed working on tunes in the studio and recording. Such fun times. As for the video - this was shot on a borrowed recorder and the sound wasn't fed from the board or anything, just what the single mic picked up. It's not HD by a long shot but it serves its purpose of capturing a glorious memory otherwise forgotten to time.

That's moi on the right sporting the Harry Reams mustache. I still have that guitar, by the way. It's a 1983 Kramer Pacer Imperial built in Neptune, NJ.

That was great! Actually sounded pretty good for a single mic. Reminds me of stuff I was doing in the mid-80's, but we were never smart enough to record it. Awesome that you still have that guitar
