I've been re-discovering my 1X12 cheese grater, AKA The Vox Valvetronix AD50VT.
I really think the AC15 model is probably the best of the bunch.
Takes a pedal too. I tried out my Brownie overdrive/distortion, setting it more like a boost/overdrive, and it does a fine job.
Louder sounds better (as with most amps, right?). But I had to be considerate of "non guitarists" in the family :)

I had the vt30 for a while...quite nice an amp line yep. The 30 had just a 10".

Sounds nice! Nothing says Rock and Roll like moccasins and tracky dacks too ;)

That sounds really nice. Funny that the Brownie didn't add much other than a little boost, at least in the section I saw. I thought that was a higher-gain pedal.

Right you are Eric. The pedal screams high gain Marshall if you want. In the clip I had the level control almost maxed, and the gain control very low...no more than 9oclock. Thanks for listening.

Very nice... and very tubey. I like! 'Course I'm a solid state / modeler fanboy, too. The Valvetronix technology in there sounds great.
