Sadly, these pedals are part of the recall. Fortunately the fix is under $1000 per pedal but I'm sure it's worth the cost. oke

Although I thought the Class 5 was killer, I never really played it so I'm pretty happy with the trade. And, I fell a little less guilty about getting Mini Rectifier. Okay, who am I kidding, I never felt guilt about buying it in the first place. ;-)

BTW, is the effects loop the proper place for compression? Would you place it first or last? I currently have my fx loop as -->delay-->looper-->out.

Can't wait to get home and try these out!

I believe conventional wisdom would put the compressor just after wah in your pedal effects chain, going into your overdrive/distortion boxes and into the front end of the amp (i.e. not the effects loop).

I was reading the insert and it suggest:

Placing the compressor before any overdrive or distortion pedal (or before your amp's input if you are using amp distortion) will allow the note 'attack' to become creamier, and will make it seem like it is easier to pick fast notes accurately.
...
Placing the pedal after any overdrive or distortion pedal (or in the amp's effect loop) will allow you to control the final output volume no mater what pedal (or pedals) you have on...

I think I'll try both to see what happens.

Thanks, Spud.. That's how I connected it. I only had a short time to play with both pedals but they sound really nice and are built very well.

This Compressor is just great! For the last week I've been playing it mostly with heavy palm muted stuff but tonight I moved to the clean channel and it sounded just grand. It's a lot of fun to experiment with and I like it in the mix along with my delay. Not too overpowering but there. Good Stuff, Maynard! :dude

Nice trade too! I traded two hand made pedals with original artwork (a Tube Screamer type deal with like 5 modes and a Brown Sound in a Box) for an iRig adaptor that I now never use I'm fail at negotiations
