Well.....over the years he has used a lot of different kit.
For the last few years he has used a selection of Telecasters.....most fitted with a Gibson PAF in the neck.............the bridge pups are normally standard fitment.
As a slight aside here are my pair............

You know I went electric a coupla years ago cos I love the Brian May/ Queen sound..............got a BM replica guitar, Treble booster and played it through a Vox...............struggled to get the sound......just couldn't get hold of BM's playing at all..............fingers could just not do...
No it is a Spider 112 75 watt......................rarely used...bought as a first amp.
The Vox AD50 next to it is superb...........and the Fender tweed bassman, not in the picture, is even better.................
Thanks marnold.......Yes I had a look there first and even posted the question.......to no avail.
I understand that the original Nocaster guitar was a 10.2k........some time later when the pups and the guitars were reissued by the Custom Shop the resistance was down to 7.3k
I have to say...
I have just bought a Nocaster bridge pup, for my Tele, off 'fleabay' and instead of it being the current 7.3k pup it is an earlier.......much sought after?......10.2k version.
I can't find any info on when the change was made to the Nocaster pups....have searched various Fender forums without...
