Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for listening!
Never been happy with that mix - the microphones I used cost about £20 each and I don't have the original tracks any more. Thinking of re-recording it all together, tbh.
Given that I'm lazy these days. This is maybe 2 - 3 years old, me and my acoustic, vox and G at the same time, cos (as I already said) i'm lazy.....
Anyhoo, hope you enjoy!

You get it to work? Not sure if it's just linking through for me because I'm a member - that box thingy tried to make me pay, thus i rejected it.
Man, I shouldn't play when I've had booze, think I might've been going for the Prince stylee tone. How very 80's.
Here's my effort. Best I can do at 2 in the morning after many beers....
Feel free to add, cos I only did a lil bit!

Go for it, man! Don't be afraid to suggest a song that you know either. I've been to a fair few open mics (my brother runs one in Edinburgh), and the vibe's generally friendly and supportive. After all, everybody's there to have fun - not to write a review.
It's something I see as a different technique entirely, and like anything else in music, it's totally discretionary. There are some awesome rhythmic techniques that I find translate really well onto electric guitar, Rasgueado being one of my faves (can really spice up some of your RG lines)...
