    Intervals - minor/diminished (Edly's) ??

Hi - I'm working my way through Edly's Theory for Practical People; and actually quite enjoying it! Hope someone will help me clarify stuff I don't quite 'get' on pp 29-30 (question below): Statement 2.: lowered minor = diminished, I can't see that from the chart above, can I? E.g. m7...

Fooling an amp speaker output - speaker ohm values (mod)

Impedance... M, it should not change significantly over time, if that's what you mean... But the impedance ("ohm rating") is not a fixed number either, see the explanation in the first few paragraphs and image here: http://www.churchsoundcheck.com/imp1.html

    Bo Kaspers Orkester

Roskilde Yes, once.. Nearly 15 years ago... Especially the baking hot Saturday afternoon with back-to-back performances by Rollins Band and Clawfinger sticks in my mind!

    Guess the song!

It's been nearly a week.. No guesses = Too easy?? :o - well that was "Iris" from Live's Throwing Copper. I'll try another one. This is from an album I recently "borrowed' from my library - they have a service where you can actually download music from home, it's DRM'ed and will play for...

Im sellin almost all my guitar equipment..

Wow.. I've just read this entire thread for the first time, and find myself a little speechless... The first half of "please don't sell your gear!" replies was kinda funny and I could only nod in agreement and be impressed with the amount of good will and concern displayed by everyone here. And...

    Guess the song!

Hmm - a little hard to choose something as a lot of the local/European music I listen to never made it to the US. Not much fun in posting those. But this should be quite well known: I liked the way my hand looked on your head in the presence of my knuckles but the beauty of this vision alone...

Riding this, but season is probably a month or so away (for me at least): - although these wheels were borrowed for a test ride; they are worth more than the rest of the bike! GASing for maybe something like this: Kawasaki ER-6n I owned a Virago-535 a few years ago...

My first lesson with a real person!

Been trying to teach myself for the past 1½ years. Day before yesterday I went for my first lesson. The teacher is a late-twenties musical student who responded to my 'wanted'-ad on a music store forum. He had asked me to bring whatever I'd like to work on, which was Wish You Were Here. He...

    String Tension

According to a tension calculator the tension on a 'regular' strung drops 11% when tuned down half a step. I suppose that would be the case for the silk'n'steels also, meaning from 95.5 to 85 lb.

Real nice to see so many familiar "faces"

    - and looking forward to become acquainted with all the unknowns. ... Thanks to Childbride for the holler ! I got my black Washburn D10S approx. 1½ years ago, but my practice schedules have been rather irregular to say the least... But this Tuesday I'm having my first lesson and I really think...
