I recorded some electric guitar songs to PC at Wave format. Then I found it sounds 'crack' at certain points(high frequency?) and even I minimized the volume and changed another headphone, the crack sound still exist there. It seems it corrupted at the points. Pls advise. Thanks.

I got some information today from Internet and I tried it. It really helps to minimize the noise. The approach is to connect the guitar to a preamp(I only have pedals) and then connect to the line-in of PC. The result is nice but it only have 1 channel. So I mixed the channel into 2 with PC...

Damn it! it looks quite expensive. :D

It's tempo is a bit fast. Even I'm familiar to the note (sometimes still get wrong in the middle) , I still need to practice the mood of the riff also.

sorry, I misunderstood your last post. Anyway I always set the recording level to 45% or 25% but still hear the background noise. (of course if I raise the volume, the noise would increase.) When I do the same way to my keyboard, no such noise. When I do it to my guitar amp, it gets the annoying...

u can control the output volume and record volume as usual. If you don't know, try to read the manual of your PC. It's common settings. I mainly use Adobe audition to record the guitar and keyboard. It's a very nice software providing multi-tracking for recording.

The 'phone ' of the amp to the 'line-in' of soundcard with normal audio cable. It works fine except the background noise. :(

I have a cheap Laney LX12. I always connect it to line-in of my PC for guitar recording. If I increase the recording volume, the background noise is very serious. Pls advise if it is natural or it is the problem of my cheap amp. THanks.

I 'm trying to play guitar riff of Police's 'every breath you take'. To make it close to the original, I 'm doing it with heavy palm muting, with heavy pick and with clean guitar sound. Anyway the sound still isn't like the original guitar sound. is it because of the difference of the guitar...

in fact if I connected the Bad Monkey OUT1 to amp and then connect the amp to line-in of soundcard, I could get 2 channel. So I'd like to know the reason behind. Thanks.

I connected it to line-in of my PC through the OUT2 (to Mixer). I could hear the guitar sound but only at right channel while nothing at left channel. I asked Digitech and replied that this is normal because Bad Monkey does not output stereo sound. I wonder what's the difference between mixer...
