Find out what station and call their Chief Engineer. If they recently made any changes (to power, tower location coverage pattern etc), they're required to help homeowners eliminate interference from their signal for up to one year. Most engineers are eager to help regardless.

Similar, I use a squeeze ball. Also, since I'm struggling with strumming patterns, I try and sound them out and see how long I can keep the rhythm going.

I've used Adobe Audition, and it's previous versions, for years doing audio production in the broadcast industry. The lack of real time FXs seem to make it less than ideal for mixing music.
