I am liking my UX2 that uses the same software a lot. Looks cool! I would think one would need to compare the interface to the unit Justa has.

Stupid Deal Of The Day

To go along with the Stupdi deal of the Day is my STUPID QUESTION.....can you use this thing, just as it as without hooking it into your computer??? I mean, with all the amp models, and effects, for the LOW PRICE, it seems that itbeats getting a higher priced PAX unit that doesn't hook in to your computer. Just wondrin".

If it is like the other toneports, and I think it it, it must be connected to your computer via USB. The standalone versions are the PODs like StingX and Tone use.

I like all these line 6 boxes.. but I am confused here..
For $99.99 you get an interface with a PLUG-IN for using through software supporting it.. which has 18 amps?

the toneport GX is 69 bucks and I think has 23 amps?

is it the need for the plug-in?

is there something else I am missing?

I often wondered why the plug-in was SO expensive? and still wonder.

BTW, Sweetwater sells this for $99 too.. but as B stock.. justa heads up..
if MF sells out..

in anycase.. they are darn sweet and well worth the costs..

I believe the difference is that if you have the amps as "plug ins" as opposed to an effect accessible only while using Gearbox, you can stick it in your recording program like Garageband, Logic, etc. Right now, I can only record my guitar sound using an effect into Garageband, rather than use a setting as a plug in within GB, if that makes sense. At least that is how I understand it. Swede could explain it better I am sure.

ok, so as a plugin it's more or less..dont even use the interface and you still get the effects and amps.. with anything used... I guess thats neat..

when I first seen BUNDLE and retailed at 500.. I was hoping they threw all their add ons together to go along with the toneports.. I almost bought it.. lol! dunno if I would use it as a plugin.. but it still sounds cheap!!
