Looks like I have some catching up to do.:D NOT!

Very nice. I'm coming right over and it doesn't really matter which one I play. I think I'll be OK on any old one of them.

Thanks for the props everyone.
I played tonight and had a great time.

it took many years to find the right gear.

Im just learning how to navigate through this website software system.
It will take me a while to learn everything.

In my black & silverface amps photo, the bottom left is a 1964 Deluxe Reverb and it is the early one that has no numbers 1 & 2 above the inputs. It is just blank there. Both the Vibrolux Reverb and the Princeton Reverb have the Jensen C10NS speakers. the top left is a 1967 Silverface Vibro Champ and the right top is a 1968 Bronco Amp and I have the matching red Bronco Guitar with that one. the Super Reverb is a 1967 blackline with the Telefunken GZ34 and the telefunken preamp w/RCA 7025s and the small bottle 6L6GC. And it has the CTS ALNiCo speakers, what a killer sounding amp. The transitional Princeton is a sweet sounding beuty with the CTS square ceramic magnet speaker. Very sweet tone. I recapped the Princeton reverb including a new can cap and I recapped the Super Reverb. All the rest are stock. These are not the amps I play, I have another room for the players.

I will show you my 18 watt Marshalls tomorrow.

best will

Hey Will , very nice ..love that transitional princeton i had the opportunity to play through one a few years back , and remember it well , always said i'd grab one should the opportunity arise , any idea how many were made, ,i love the white knob blackface look, i'm a big fan of low watt fenders , have you ever played one with a weber 10" installed , thanks for sharing the pics . 6S9L

Thanks for the note,

Here is a pic of my daily player, a 1960 Deluxe with a Celestion G12 blue.

I installed all new sprague atom caps under the original brown paper astron cap covers. So the amp still looks original under the hood, but it has all new caps.

The amp has much more power and is safe from blowing trannys now with the new caps.

Will - You may want to direct future postings of your collection to the Vintage & Re-issue thread - here:

http://www.thefret.net/forumdisplay.php?f=39

We want to stay on-topic here w/ Mark's recent and most impressive amp build. Posting information under the designated areas of the forum will also allow members and visitors to direct themselves easily to content they are interested in.

If you need help navigating the forum, or have questions regarding posting, you can contact one of the administrators, or hit the FAQ on page menu. Mainly, I want to be sure that other vintage gear hounds can enjoy the photos and information you share about your collection. The Vintage & Re-issue section of the forum will be the first place they look. :)

I hope you take all those amps out to play.

Otherwise we're gonna have to call the Amp cops on you for amplifier abuse.

You can watch it on Amplifier Planet (a cable station in the US for you non-Americans).
