a small melody

Noodling around after working on my Epiphone semi and stumbled across a chord sequence and melody I thought was kinda pretty. Recording is very raw, threw a bass bit in to see if it had potential. I just kinda liked the melody and changes, really. Input welcome as always.

I liked it very much. The verse reminds me of something until the change in chord pattern. But I cannot say what. Lot's of good potential and very sweet melody!

I like how the melody weaves in and out of the bass line.
It reminds me a little of Dire Straits' Telegraph Road.

Yeah, I got Dire Straits feel out of it as well, but did not post that. But it can certainly have its own thing too. Lots to work with I think.
