It looks like Al Jarreau took ill while touring in the south of France (according to AP).
Under medical supervision right now, but let's hope for a full recovery.

Please have some supporting thoughts for the man with such great talent and personality.

Al is such a unique vocalist. My Dad has been a huge fan for decades. I love his jazz music the most.
It sounds like he's suffering from altitude sickness. While it can be deadly, he's likely to recover quickly.

I have had the pleasure of seeing many times over the years @ Playboy Jazz Festival's @ the Hollywood Bowl. One great voice. An a very nice guy I might add.
