Hi all,
I've just bought a few pick ups for some of my acoustic guitars that I don't want to drill into or change by adding built in pickups.
So, I went onto good old eBay for a look, and picked up a couple of different ones.
For my O hole Yamaha, I've picked up a slide in pickup, picks up the individual strings, single coil by the looks of it. Tone and volume controls too. Pretty sweet little unit. It's a Sound Lab Acoustic Guitar Pickup.
Gonna check it out tonight, and I'll post my thoughts on the sound and so on..
The other ones I've plumped for are for my Eko which has f holes. I've gone for a Cherub microphonic pickup which seems to have decent reviews. They were dirt cheap, so I picked up a couple.
These haven't arrived yet, so I'll post up my thoughts when they come in.
Just in case anyone else is looking for this sort of solution - might be helpful one day maybe!
