this is a good example of what made the classic Aerosimth , if you were a teenager in the mid 70's, well...Slash who? Slash owes almost every ounce of his being to Joe Perry.
(even Slash will agree to that)..Aerosmith Live , get the lead out , live and ...raw

I grew up in central Mass. in the 70's, and there were definitely a lot of good Bay State rockers back in those days! Aerosmith was definitely one of the tops!

right on bro.. along with Thin Lizzy's "Jail break" album , I consider Aerosmith "Rocks" the twin guitar bible.. 76

more classic live (no more , no more )

They get slammed a lot, but I really was a fan back in the day.

Here in Cleveland when it really was the Rock-n-Roll Capital I caught them at Cleveland Stadium - check out the line-up

* Rod Stewart & Faces
* Uriah Heep

Rod was top billing and Aerosmith was the fourth act to play, Rod didn't come close to matching Aerosmith's energy.

Here's a little something about the "World Series of Rock" that were held in the summers back in the 70's

My favorite Aerosmith memory (junior high era) is using my big handled comb from the rainbow striped pocket of my Britannia jeans to comb my center parted, feathered hair, before going out to cruise for girls on the skate floor at SkateKing, with "Rock this Way" or "Big 10 Inch" blaring and the mirrored "snowball" all aglitter. Or, I might be feeling cool that night and be hanging off the floor over by the "Tommy" pinball machine. Memories . . . LOL!

Ahh, the smell of green apple Bonnie Bell lip smacker on your junior high honey.

Classic stuff!

I love early Aerosmith and Joe Perry has been a big influence on my guitarplaying.
