Brought my Crate into the new house for the first time last night (my gear was stored at a friend's house for a while). The house has hardwood floors throughout. Set up the amph and the digitech for some screamin' solos... WOW. I had the amph on the lowest audible volume setting, and it was STILL overpowering the TV.

Lesson Learned: Hardwood floors bounce and amplify sound alot, at least when compared to a carpeted floor! I have to use the volume pedal function on the Digitech from now on to turn it down to a reasonable level. And natural reverb is awesome!

Now GAS for a Valve Jr. is rearing its ugly head...

I have a hardwood floor in my little "Guitar Lounge". It makes the reverb delicious, the amp ludicrously loud!

But it sounds good..................:D
