Ya know Strum's number was 13, so if Robert prefers the number 13 he can always give his winnings to Strum.

Sounds fair to me. Robert???

Also, when we were asked if we had issue with Robert entering the contest, the only thing I requested was a background check - was that done?

We might be looking at do over. Robert's probabably speed reading the catalogs now.:D

Superswede, hmm, that is a thought. I still think semi-hollow viking, but a Swede is a good thought too.

OK, Sun that's enough of that. You've are really getting me gassing for a Hagstrom & I didn't win. ;)

Yeah, tOta, I have some tele gas, largely induced by forum members, especially the last pics of the XV-820 butterscotch tele DVM has posted, and I didn't win either. So I guess you and I just have to GAS through Robert this time. Pretty fun! He is such a good player, and we almost certainly will get to see the purchase in action, so it is really group GAS with our GAS leader. :AOK:

Late to the party on this.

Congrats to the Big Cheese!!! Well deserved!! :bravo: :pancake:

Oh Canada !!! our home & lucky land..:canada:

Well, did nt win the raffle but a Quebec lotery ticket made me $1000.00 (cad)richer this morning .

Congrats, now we can bomb you with suggestions on how to spend that money. Better do it faster than Robert, his is already starting to lose value.:poke:

I'm leaning towards a Hagstrom... my local music store has plenty of them and he also gives me a nice discount.

I don't need another amp or (m)any more pedals. I could use some good cables and such things, but heck, a new guitar is more EXCITING, isn't it?

I am liking the sound of that. What one? The Vik, or the Swede? I personally vote Vik of course. :D

Rob, maybe it s time to get the SHF: Swedish Humbucker Fever..

I am not sure yet. I need your help deciding, guys! :poke:

Personally I think you would be really happy with a semi-hollowbody guitar. I love them, Rocket recommends them, ZMAN likes his, and those guys from the great State of Idaho seem to be pretty fond of them. Other than that, it's a waste of money.

You really need to expand the versatility of the collection.

There are few things you will hear me recommend, but a semi-HB is definitely one I don't hesitate to recommend. I probably mentioned to SVL once or twice.

Always room for another semi. I'd recommend a DoubleCut Gretsch... new & different weapon for your arsenal.
