Thanks for the invitation. I'm afraid I have no visits to småland planned at the moment.

Of course you too are welcome to visit me if you happen to be visiting Norrland!

From Wikipedia:

For other uses, see Småland (disambiguation).
Småland
The provinces of Sweden with Småland highlighted.

Småland (help·info) is a historical province (landskap) in southern Sweden. Småland borders Blekinge, Scania or Skåne, Halland, Västergötland, Östergötland and the island Öland in the Baltic Sea. Unlike most other Swedish provinces, Småland has never been united as one Swedish county. The name Småland literally means Small lands.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Thus Småland lies near the head of the Swedish penisula ;). It means small-lands, but from the looks of it, that can probably be chalked up to the notorious Swedish humility.

The phrase:

For other uses, see Småland (disambiguation).

is quite amusing. I'm afraid to click the link.

You´ve done your homework Tota!

My town is located 377 meters (1 236,87 feet) over the ocean, that is why the area is called "the highlands".
